Friday and another weekend to fly through

I might as well just stay at work and forget the weekend. It's going to go so quickly that I shouldn't even try. What are your plans?

Finishing up my SL order. I'm $60 away from my monthly goal but should make it by the deadline tonight. I've got a ton of stuff in my "basket" to order. Guess I'm not making any extra $$ off this party! At least we will have beautiful stuff to furnish our home. I'm going to really be in trouble in MARCH because the Hostess & Customer specials are all SUPER! Take a look.

My computer was working through mollasses last night. Three hours to do 30 minutes worth of work. Because of that we watched the AI results show on fast forward. No real surprises except the last two girls. I really wanted "Kate" or who ever she is to go. When Ryan was saying her name she was nodding like she knew she was leaving. When he said she was safe I was disappointed. She scares me! I was really amazed that the girl that did get kicked to the curb was able to sing her song. I know I wouldn't have.

Also because of the computer we only watched a few minutes of LOST before we were both falling asleep. If I can get my Order submitted & my car packed before midnight, maybe we can watch tonight. What I did see was WEIRD!!! What the heck is going on????????

Big scrappin Yardsale tomorrow. I haven't pulled out anything more so hopefully the stuff I had left over will sell. I'm going to have about a table & a half of space so should be able to display it better. I'm also going to have my business cards and the March special flyer on the table. maybe I'll get lucky & book a party. Mainly just want to sell all the stuff and then I can use the $$ to buy more! LOL.

Bunco tomorrow night. Hope enough people come. Sounds like there is alot going on that may dwindle the attendance. Should still be fun and I'm going to "play" between the time the sale ends and when I need to be at the party. I have a lot of old "favorite" stores that I plan to hit.

Sunday I hope to take it easy and maybe finally catch up on my DVR'd shows. I finally had to just dump the 50 Regis & Kellys I had saved. Really. 50. When did I think I'd have time to watch all those? Oh yeah, right after the 30 Oprahs. Oh, I also need to make a couple of really special Birthday cards & an Anniversary Card.

BTW, what do I want for my 1st wedding anniversary? My DH is still asking and the only thing I can think of is out of our allowance range. I'd love to just take a trip but that may have to be postponed a little bit.

Hope you have a great weekend. I'll try to touch base but can't swear to it. I know I still owe you pictures from Valentines Day.

Who loves DAVID A?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you are not watching AI. He is the cutest thing EVER. Any he can sing the pants off anyone else. We have a few other "favorites" but we are drawing up papers to adopt him right now! I read a while ago on Teresa Collins blog that her daughter goes to school with him. According to her, he is as adorable & sweet as he appears. Couldn't you just eat him with a spoon?

BIG yard sale this Saturday at the "Doodle". If you are local, you know where that is. I'm hoping to unload the rest of my extra stuff for lots of cash and try not to spend it all at the same time. It is a MUCH bigger event than the one a few weekends ago. The temptations will be even stronger. My buddy D is setting up next to me and she isn't much help in resisting stuff. I love her but Seriously. We should have fun and they say the weather will be back to "normal" by then.

After the sale, if I have any $$ left, I'm going to hit all the thrift stores I used to frequent when I lived on the West coast. Hope to find some treasures on my way to Toodles house.

Saturday night we will have our first "official" night of BUNCO. Since I used up all my Bunco luck the night we "learned" I don't hold out much hope.

Don't forget the end of the month is "officially" tomorrow (Thursday). I'll be placing my order Thursday night and don't want you to miss out if you've been on the fence.

Karate tonight and then the Girls hit the stage of Idol. See how I came right back around?

Lazy mans Post

Since it is Tuesday and I have no idea what to talk about that is fresh..I will do the TAG I got from KIP.

Where was I 10 years ago?
Going through a Divorce from my children's father. Finding out things he tried to keep hidden. Closing a business that I loved because I needed a job to support myself and my children.

What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire?
Find a doctor that could cure my DH of his constant pain. Then travel. Set up trust funds for our children. Pay off my mothers house and buy her a condo near where I live. Give my neice in Georgia enough money to pay off her bills & not have to worry again. Buy my in-laws a house in Florida. INVEST so we'd never have to worry again. Pay off all our bills. Support several charities.

3 places I have lived:
Mass.
Florida
North Carolina

5 Jobs that I have had:
Fast Food worker/manager
Secretary/receptionist
Customer Service rep
Family/Child advocate
Business owner

5 Things people don't know about me:

I'm a pretty open book so I'm not sure what I can tell....
I terrified to fly but have flown across the Ocean & several other places
I've ridden a "Mechanical Bull" and not fell off
I was in Concert Chorus in High School
I used to run road races and won a trophy once for my age level
I'm still 17 , in my mind!

I'm not going to tag anyone but if you need a blog post, feel free to use this format.

Second week of AI eliminations start tonight.

Watched "Night at the Museum" last night. Pretty cute. Yep..still really behind in our movie watching. We should get the Coast Guard movie "The Guardian" today. Looking forward to that.

3 more days to order before I close out my http://www.southernlivingathome.com/hinton month.

BIG scrapbooking yard sale this weekend. Hope the weather holds out. Better get my act together and re-organize my left over stuff and find more stuff to add to the pile.

CHILI'S strikes again

Anyone that has gone out to eat with me more than once has probably experienced my knack for getting FREE FOOD because of poor service/bad food, etc. Last night was another reason why I should not be allowed to eat out.

As you may remember I had the Brilliant idea to take my DS out to dinner every other Sunday night. Mom-Son bonding, time to talk and spend quality time together. What a load of crap it is turning out to be.

Seriously.

Last night I was running late for our "Date" so he complained the whole way to the restaurant. Then we had to wait for a table. More complaining. Then we had a baby sitting nearby and he complained that people shouldn't be allowed to bring babies into a restaurant.

Seriously?

We had a very long wait for our food, more complaining. Then they put pepper on his Corn on the Cob. More complaining. Then the crap really hit the fan.

I had snagged one of his 5 chicken strips (I'd been snacking all day at a crop & really didn't want to order food so figured he could share) and he'd eaten 3 of the rest when he started cutting up the last one.

(Yes, he was cutting it up. It was bigger than the others and he wanted to manage it better)

Anyway......

He cut it into three pieces and started to bite the first piece when I noticed how RAW the pieces left on his plate looked. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I yelled at him to stop & put down the chicken. I showed him the pieces and told him they were undercooked and he couldn't eat them. Since I had placed a take-out order of the same thing for DH, I was really grossed out and afraid his would be raw too. Not to mention that by now the piece I had eaten was trying to "Come back up". EWWW!

Long story short, I got the entire meal, except for the Take-out order that was cooked much longer and better, FREE. My DS was VERY upset that I had caused a scene and called EVERYONE in the restaurant over to the table.

What-ev!

My DD can testify to the number of times I have done that while at dinner with her. She is now amazed if we get through a meal without me complaining about something. I'm not sure if I am the unluckiest person alive when it comes to eating out or if I'm just the only person that expects what I order to be cooked according to how I want it...

Enough about that, my breakfast is stuck in my throat just thinking about last night.

How was the rest of my weekend? Thank you for asking.

Saturday morning I did a little yard-saling. Found a three drawer LARGE storage "cart" with wheels for $4, Pampered Chef Large pizza stone-$1, Tupperware condiment holder with lid & handle-.50, Craft iron-$3, Mini-Lane cedar chest with part of original label for .25 cents. I found a few more things but these are the "cream of the crop". Considering it was a shortened shopping trip I thought it was a great day.

My LAUNCH party turned out pretty good. The weather was BAD but cleared up about an hour before it started. I had 4 neighbors come. MY dear friend, CAMI, came to lend moral support. Thank goodness because she filled in a few times when I was flubbing what I wanted to say. I used all of my products either as display or to serve my food. I'm still mad that me, the scrapbooking-picture taking queen, forgot to take a picture of the food display. SHOOT!

Had fun Saturday night at dinner. It was really loud and talking was difficult but it's always a hoot to get together with Cari and the Scrapyard peeps.

Sunday was a mini crop at Cari's house and I managed to get 10 thank you cards done before I had to run off to dinner. (SEE above if you have already blocked that memory out of your mind)

So now it's Monday. I'm at work and as you can see, working hard. LOL!

PLEASE NOTE---the deadline to order off my Launch party is Thursday the 28th. Check out the catalog on my website and give me a shout. Don't forget, with a $29.95 order you can order the Salt & Pepper set AND the wrought iron Paper Towel holder at a discounted price. In addition, each order of $29.95 AUTOMATICALLY gets a free subscription to Cottage Living Magazine. SWEET!

Anything new with you?

Til later...................

EDITED to add...I didn't blame the server for the food. Actually, he SUCKED long before we got the raw chicken. The story was long enough all ready so I left out how BAD the service was. Since my DD is/has been a server, I'm always as nice as I can be to them if the food is bad. I know it is not their fault. I even Tipped the guy despite how bad he was. So there, DD! LOL. Love ya!

Let the weekend begin

The farewell party for my co-worker went well yesterday. She insisted she had NO idea and was very appreciative of all the fuss. She loved the scrapbook. I took some pictures at the party and plan to run by Walgreen's to print them off today during lunch. I kept my scrapping stuff in my car so I can do the last of the pages this afternoon before she leaves.

Speaking of running......good grief, just the thought of this weekend makes me tired but happy.

Tomorrow is my Southern Living at Home party. I'm hoping alot of people will drop by that haven't RSVP'd. Otherwise I'll have plenty of snacks left over.

Saturday night is the 30th Birthday party for my gal pal, Cari (HI CARI!!!). She wouldn't allow anyone to throw her a surprise party like they wanted to since she likes to (MUST) be in charge. She has planned tomorrows dinner party and has us all reved up for fun.

Sunday we are cropping at her house. Not sure how she will feel about a bunch of women dropping by at the crack of dawn after her big night out but...then again , she is only 30 so has alot more energy than I do. LOL. I'm going to take stuff to make cards and maybe an actual LO or two. Goodness knows my scrapbooks are feeling very neglected since I discovered card making.

Lots of drama going around and dragging several of my friends and family down. I hate to see them going through such crap and wish I could do something to help. All I can offer is a shoulder and a open ear. I have told them I'm available and will wait for them to need me. You all know who you are. HUGS!!!!

I'll leave you know with a story of early morning stupidity. I read a sign Wed. that said a community nearby was having SALES today. I dropped off the boy at his bus stop and drove a short distance to the "retirement park". I drove up and down each street and NO ONE was set up yet. I was really disappointed that they were getting such a late start since I needed to get to work. As I was driving out of the community I re-read the sign. Seems the sale is the 29th. Today is the 22nd. Hmmmm. No wonder no one was set up. LOL!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Not sure how much posting I'll get done with everything going on. Safe travels to my Sister (& mom) as they drive to Georgia and to my BIL (& friend) as they visit family in Georgia before returning to the great white north.

Show in the Sky & goodbyes

Who got the chance to see the Lunear Eclipse last night? We were afraid we'd miss it when the sky clouded up. Fortunately for us, the sky cleared and we got a perfect show. Once the moon was completely covered we tried to watch it come back, but the clouds came and it got REALLY late so gave up & went to bed. Next chance 2010.

We are saying goodbye to one of my co-workers today. We have been running around trying to plan a secret party and we'll find out how well we did in 30 minutes. I made her a scrapbook with pictures of each of us and a farewell message on each page. I hope she likes it.

Now that the boys & girls have both had their nights, who do you think will go home tonight on AI?? We like David & Michael to STAY for the boys & the girl from Sarasota to stay for the girls. Not sure of all the names yet. It will be easier to keep track once we get to the top 12.

Did we talk about the season finale of NIP TUCK yet?? WOW!!!!!!!!

Gotta run get ready for the party. Hope you are having a great day. Will try & post more soon.

Finally Day

Today is the anniversary of an event that FINALLY changed several lives forever. Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the day my DH came back to Florida, after over 30 yrs, to reunite with his High School Sweetheart. ME! It is a day that was not all sunshine and light for others but one that was long overdue. 2 1/2 weeks from now we will celebrate an even bigger anniversary and a very special birthday.

Before I make everyone ill, lets talk TV.

Prison Break season finale last night. WOW. Some parts were really exciting. The ending was quieter than I expected but full of promise for another great season.

Medium. Why do people still question Alison after all the times she has been proven correct? It was a good twist to have her deaf since her "client" was deaf. As much as I like peace and quiet sometimes, I'd hate to not be able to hear my loved ones voices.

Nip Tuck season finale tonight. I MUST watch the show in "real time" so that I can discuss it tomorrow with a co-worker. I was two weeks behind until Sunday and OMGOODNESS!!! No wonder she asked me everyday if I had caught up. Such a wild ride.

AI gets down to it tonight with the guys. Looking forward to see how this season plays out.

We have several shows that we need to catch up on so will discuss them later.

Southern Living at Home update.......it's not to late to book a party for DOUBLE hostess credit if your party is held in February and totals $500 before S&H. Already booking parties for MARCH and looking forward to meeting some new people.

Another report of a possible illness. This time in the family of a co-worker. I hope things are not what they originally appear to be. Still waiting to hear from Georgia and all the goings on there. Continuous prayers for all involved.

My boss is in China and about to meet her new daughter. Exciting for her but I still have work to do so better scoot.

Sunday-Lap 45

Taking a moment to check in while the race is on. I'm listening to it in the computer room and will be joining my DH in the living room in a few minutes. I wanted to update before the day gets away from me.

How is/was your weekend? I took Friday off since I haven't been feeling well and needed to get ready for the yard sale on Saturday. Good thing I did since it took almost all day! Got the car loaded and ready to get an early start Saturday about the time my energy gave out.

Got out early Saturday for the LONG drive to the scrapbook store where we were taking part in their 1st annual Scrap yard sale. It was a SCRAPYARD filled sale with three of the 5 tables outside filled with the SY gals. Goodness knows we have enough stuff to sell. I think I won for bringing the most. Good thing my DD's gals got there ahead of me and helped me unload. Sold some stuff & only spent $3, including snacks.

After the sale I went across the street with my DD gals and had a Greek Salad then headed off to JoAnns to look for a paper Mache house. Didn't find one there and left without buying anything.

Hit a couple thrift stores on the way home and picked up a couple things that I'll take to the next scrapyard sale on the 1st.

Spent a nice quiet Saturday evening with DH watching TV and then had a nice quiet Sunday morning before unloading the car. Since the sale is in 2 weeks, I just left all the stuff on the table in the garage. Will be easy to re-load the car and GO. I'll probably go through my scraproom and see what else I can pull out to add to the pile.

BTW....how was your Valentine's Day? I had a very nice evening with my DH & DS. I even got to see my DD for awhile when she stopped by my work place. My boys did a great job with spoiling me. The best part was when the "Scrapbooker" in me wanted to take a picture before opening my gift, my DH told me he had already taken pictures. LOL. He had actually taken about 10-15! I've trained him well. Take a look...

My DH & DS made the card. So sweet!! The flowers were from my DS and the box was a "Promise" heart necklace from my DH. Very special gifts from my two favorite guys!

Speaking of my Dh, I'm going to go now and watch the rest of the race with him. The race is extra special because it plays a part in our upcoming anniversary celebration "month". On the 19th we will celebrate 3 years since we got back together. He came back to Florida on Race day in 2005.

Another busy week ahead. My Southern Living at Home Launch party is this coming Saturday. Big birthday party celebration that night for one of the SY gals then an ALL DAY crop at her house the next day.

I need to be three people or get a secretary!

Still saying prayers for several people in my Cyber & real family. HUGS!!!!

I know this is from Christmas but I wanted to share two people that mean the world to me.
My DD & DS.
LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
(I love my DH too but he doesn't read my Blog)
Hope everyone has someone to love today, family-friends-yourself.
CYBER HUGS to all my peeps.

And now for something COMPLETELY different...

Apparently you are tired of hearing about my new business so I thought I'd steal a blog idea from my fabulous neice in Georgia. She sent this to me in an email and I thought it was cute.

I bring you,

The Banana Test

There is a very, very tall coconut tree and there are 4 animals. King Kong, an Ape, an Orangutan and a Monkey pass by. They decide to compete to see who is the fastest to get a banana off the tree.

Who do you guess will win?

Your answer will reflect your personality.

Think carefully . . . Try and answer within 30 seconds

Got your answer?

Now scroll down to see the analysis.

*
*
*
*
*
*
*

If your answer is:

Orangutan = you're dull & normal

Ape = you're a moron

Monkey = worse, you're an idiot

King Kong = you're hopelessly stupid.......

Why????? .......

A Coconut tree doesn't have bananas!

Obviously you're stressed and overworked.Take some time off and relax!

Ok, I'll ADMIT, she got me. I was dumb enough to think it couldn't be King Kong because he isn't real. LOL!!!!!

Sneaking in a little business..I'm going to my first meeting tonight for SL@H. Hoping to win some stuff but if you read my last post you'll know I've used up my luck for awhile.

How sad is it when your DH asks you what you'd like for Valentines Day and you can't think of anything? Guess that is what happens when he treats you like a Queen everyday and you always buy what you want, as you want it. I've even put myself on a "self imposed spending freeze" and he keeps asking WHY??

Looks like we are in for some rough weather tonight. Really glad I found SNOW grade windshield wipers at a yard sale Saturday. My old ones were the original wipers and the right side was hanging. These babies really grip the glass so should be wonderful for our Florida storms. I only paid $5 for the pair and the guy changed them out for me right there before I left his yard. YEAH!!

Anyone excited that NASCAR starts this week?? My DH is beside himself with glee!

WHO watched Prison Break last night? OMGoodness!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personal website is Launched

After a fun night of BUNCO with my Scrapyard gals and a afternoon of playing Wii with my DS, I finally got my Southern Living at Home website done. Well, it's online. I will probably tweak it later but wanted to get the info to my readers ASAP.

Head here and then let me know what you think. Contact me if you are interested in placing an order or scheduling a party.

I'm running as I promised DS that we would have lunch together. It has now turned into dinner and he wants to go by Wally World to get some rechargeable batteries for his Wii. I still need to make a card for a friend tonight so I really must scoot.

How was your weekend? The upcoming week is going to be crazy!!!! I need 48 hours in each day.

I'm exhausted

and I still have a full night of Bunco ahead. I got up this morning and went to a TON of yard sales. Seems like 1/2 the retirement communities had sales today. Found a few things but nothing as cool as last weeks globe. I got a couple wooden boxes(another favorite of DH), some things to help with next weeks scrapsales, stuff for my new business, a nice bed tray & some other stuff I can't remember right now. I took pictures and mailed some Valentines cards. Stopped by and dropped off a catalog for my hairdresser, came home and started pulling out the stuff for next weeks scrap yard sale so I can get it priced and packed. I ended up semi rearranging the garage to make a "work" table. It got more involved than I had planned so now I'm exhausted.

Hope you've had a chance to check out the Southern Living at home website. I clicked on the link from my previous announcement and it's working fine today. I'm not sure what my problem was yesterday but it's working fine now. I still hopping to get my personal site up by the end of the weekend. I'll be sure I post it here once it's set.

My sister said she tagged me but I don't have time to check right now. Maybe I'll get to it tomorrow. I need to get moving so I'm not late for the festivities tonight.

Website is UP

Apparently everyone on the planet can access it BUT me! I'm not sure why, but when I try to click on the link I provided in my ANNOUNCEMENT posts..I get the message that the site is still down. When ANYONE else clicks on it...it goes to the Home page.

??????

Perhaps my work computer is gently suggesting that I WORK instead of surf.

Anyway, please check out the great products I've been telling you about. I'll be glad to get an order together for you or talk about planning a party so you can earn all the fabulous Hostess items you will see offered. Don't forget, my February hostesses will receive DOUBLE credit so contact me soon to lock in the date that you want.

************************************************

In other news,

LOST last night was another wild ride. They better get the Writers strike over soon because if they cut us off and make us wait for new episodes....ARG!!! My head will explode.

Anyone check out the new show, "Eli Stone"? The commercials looked silly but we watched the first show and we HATED it. Actually that isn't true but we are afraid to admit our true feelings. We have a habit of killing shows that we like. We are going to continue to say we hate it! Watch if you must. We can't advise one way or another.

Question? Why do they allow Postal workers to go to lunch during the same hours that other people are at lunch and need to go to the POST OFFICE? I appreciate you need to eat too but come on.....ONE clerk during lunch?

Bunco tomorrow.

Gonna hit some Yard sales if it doesn't rain.

Pricing and getting ready for SIP yard sale next week.

Did you get your Valentine's Cards made & mailed? I wanted to mail them today but forgot to take them with me to the PO. Figures. Guess I'll take a few quick pictures and get them mailed tomorrow. Hope they arrive on time!

What are you doing this weekend?

LisaD, How is your MOM??

Jenna...hope you have a nice Anniversary weekend.

Speaking of..ONE MONTH from today!!! Wow.

So busy but really excited

Sorry I've been so quiet this week. I've been so busy playing with my new Kit, planning parties, handing out catalogs, talking to people about my LAUNCH party.....watching HOUSE, American Idol, PRISON Break....making cards for a girl that is leaving our office...my goodness!

Did you see the part about my LAUNCH party? I'm planning on having a party at my house to introduce everyone to Southern Living at Home. It's my chance to "try out" my party skills and hopefully meet some of my neighbors. I'm planning to invite everyone on my street as well as everyone else I know. The items I received in my kit are so beautiful, I can't wait to show them off. I was very pleased with everything I got. I knew the quality of their products but still amazed at how nice EVERYTHING was. Their Silverware is HEAVY!

I have had several people contact me to hold BOOK Parties, THANKS SO MUCH!!! I'm still looking for anyone that wants to earn up to $150 worth of FREE products as well as the chance to buy other items at HALF off. If you are interested or know someone that is, email me and we'll get things moving.

More info on the Launch party soon. It is going to be the afternoon of the 23rd. February was already so booked with other things going on that, that ended up being the ONLY day I could have it at my house. I still have weeknights free if anyone would like to have a get together with your friends. March is filling up too, so please contact me ASAP if you'd like to have me bring the Southern Living at Home home furnishings to your house.

I've heard from several people that they have never heard of the company and are not familiar with their products. I'm excited to report that the website should be back on line tomorrow. Apparently they have been having a MAJOR upgrade to the site causeing a longer than normal "outage". Once you check out the site this weekend, call me to set up your party. I'm sure you will want to take advantage of the specials I'm offering my "initial" hostesses. I should also have my personal website up by the end of the weekend. I'll be sure to post the link here once I'm on line.

Now for some other news:

I know there are several people that have illnesses, family in distress, etc right now and I want to send a cyber HUG to all of you.

The Florida State Fair opens today and as usual it is raining!

Who is counting the days until NASCAR starts? Hands??

Papertreyink & MFT have some exciting news on their wesbites. Check them out.

HUGE Scrapbook/card making supplies Yard Sale on the 16th at Scrapbooking in Paradise. I will have a table there and am trying to liquidate my stock of Top Line Creation page kits-etc.

Going to learn how to play BUNCO this weekend. Really looking forward to that. I've heard it is alot of fun. LOVE the ladies that I'm playing with so can't wait.

Guess that's all for now. Don't forget to check back for updates on the Launch party and the website. http://www.southernlivingathome.com/

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

OK, I know you are all waiting for my big announcement. I won't leave you hanging any longer.

I've signed up to be a consultant for Southern Living at Home.

*
*
*
*
Now that you've had a chance to catch your breath, let me continue.

Seriously, I am really excited to have a chance to share this with my family, friends and future friends. If you are familiar with the company-you already know how great their products are and what fabulous Hostess gifts they offer. If you are shaking your head and unsure what all the excitement is about, go to: http://www.southernlivingathome.com/ and check it out. I will have my personal website up and running soon.

I am expecting two HUGE boxes to arrive at my house today with all my goodies. Once they arrive I'll have catalogs to share.

Because I am so excited and anxious to hit the ground running, I'm offering a really special "gift" to my first Hostesses. For anyone holding a party in February (it can even be a "Book Party") that totals $500 (before tax & shipping) you will receive DOUBLE Hostess dollars.

If you don't feel you can hold a party by the end of the month, I am also asking for referrals to others that would like the FREE STUFF!! I will travel anywhere in the Tampa Bay area. If anyone is reading this from outside the Tampa Bay area, you can get the same deal by holding a "Book Party". All you have to do is share the catalogs I'll send you, with your friends in the neighborhood, church, school, doctors office, etc. We can do the entire party over the internet and the items will be shipped directly to you as the hostess. SL@H will even ship directly to an individual for a $10 additional charge.

BTW, did I mention that Southern Living at Home takes CREDIT CARDS.

I have to run to a 5 hour meeting so leave a comment and I'll answer any questions you may have later today. If you are interested in getting $500 worth of products for $199, check out the Consultant offer on their website and then shoot me an email. I'd love to tell you more about what convinced me to join this great company.

Til later....................

NO, I'm not depressed

that the PATRIOTS lost last night. I really would have liked to see them go all the way but little Eli got under my skin. When I saw him at the start of the game and he looked like a deer in the headlights my heart went out to him. Watching him stand up to the challenge got me starting to root for him. The look on his face at the end of the game when he was standing on the podium talking to his team mate...pure, innocent, little boy joy. It was so cute. How could you not be happy for him?

Got some stuff done this weekend so my list is down to about 1000+. I made 5+ Valentine cards & one Thank you. Got my Cropper Hopper cubes put into my craft/scrap/computer room and they look great. I took a picture but didn't get a chance to load it.

I got a fabulous Globe for my DH at a yard sale on Saturday. The owner said she thought it was over 50 years old. I contacted the company and they sent me an email giving instructions on how to date the globe according to changes in country names & giving what year each occured. I can't wait to get home and check it out. I tried to take a picture of it too but it kept getting blurred by the flash. ***EDITED**** we have determined that the globe dates to approximately 1946-47. SO COOL!

I still have a big announcement to share but will wait until tomorrow. Everyone has been really busy lately and I don't want anyone to miss it.

Off to check out the status of TRICIA & GWEN. BTW, if you missed watching the video of Nate holding the baby last week, you must grab a BUNCH of tissues and watch it. If you don't cry by the end...I'm sad for you.

Til later.....................

Why does it rain at lunchtime?

I MUST go to the bank. Why must it start raining 5 minutes before I was going to leave? ARG!

So, who watched LOST last night? Just as wild a ride as we expected. I HATE that we may only get 8 shows before another drought. WRITERS...get back to work!!! Please. Give them what they want. Netflix is going to be getting my business soon.

GREAT pictures on Nates site. Check it out. Read down a few post in case you are behind. Very "true" writing.

I have a super big announcement (no babies or divorce news) but may save it for the weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, Plans? I hope to get more V-day cards made. Going to try and work on my scraproom, getting ready for the Scrap-sale on the 16th. Want to try & rearrange alittle using my new CH Cubes. Still trying to decide about getting more to sell at the Scrap sale. I'll leave it to chance. If they still have some tomorrrow when I can go to the store, I'll buy some.

I know a few people are under the weather. Hope you all feel better soon.

Til later...................GO PATS!!!!!!!!
