Yes, I'm still alive. Been busy all weekend getting ready to say good bye to the boy and ending my SLAH month. (NOT to late to get your $75 free.....call or contact me ASAP as the order is going in tonight-Monday) In the morning I will be placing the first of my SALE orders.
Took the boy to the movies on Saturday night so we could have some quality time before he goes to his Dads for July. We are really going to miss the lad. I usually pretend he is "Out of state" and just call him instead of seeing him at all. I figure it's his time with his dad and I don't want to interfere. This month I may have to break that and take him to dinner a couple times. Not sure I can go an entire 30 days without seeing his adorable face.
Anyway......he selected "Get Smart" as our movie. OMG. NOT a good movie to go to if you are not supposed to smile, laugh, stretch your face. I laughed my face off. I will probably have a scar now and it will be Steve Carells fault. If you saw the original show you will see stuff they snuck in just for those fans. Even if you've never seen the show, I think you will enjoy it. My DS laughed till he cried a few times. A few things that little kids shouldn't hear but no nudity, well alittle piece of flesh but nothing frontal.
Went back to K-mart on Friday after my eye appointment and tried to shop with dilated eyes. FUN! They had the Clearance stuff....40% off. I got some stuff and told the check out girl that if it was smaller than ****** size to let me know cause I couldn't really see the little numbers well. LOL. I actually got a pair of Jeans for .90 and a sweatshirt/hoodie for .90. The jeans are to small but for 90 cents...I'll get in them one day!!
Speaking of my eye exam....the eye doctor mentioned I have a "Freckle" in my eye above my Optic Nerve. ???????????????? He said it is not in his notes from last year so he wants me back in 3 months to check on it. GOOD GRIEF!!! Am I gonna make it to 50????
Hope you had a super weekend. I got together with some of my Scrapyard gals on Friday night. Couldn't see to crop so just hung out for a little while. BIG MISTAKE. Did I mention I'm not supposed to laugh or smile? NO CAN DO around that gang! I've been really doomed with the not smiling or laughing. I do it a million times a day. I'll be glad when the restriction is lifted, officially! Not to mention I really miss Kissing my DH...
OK, enough about me, how are you all?? Jenna....are you feeling better? Test results back on Dyl???

Now we wait***Update
Sitting in the lobby after the first procedure waiting for the pathology report. They said it would be an hour or more so I'm trying to catch up on my emails and other stuff I missed while I was gone. Smart of me to bring the lap top don't cha think?
So many pictures to share from the trip. I'll try to get that done this afternoon depending on how long I'm at the doctors.
Til later..................
OK, sorry it took so long but I came home and went right to sleep for quite awhile. The results came back fairly quickly or I was just distracted with my laptop. I only had to go through the procedure once!! The doctor was very pleased. He showed me a picture of the "pathology report"...nice sight early in the morning. He said the cancer appeared to be very contained which is how he was able to get it all on the first try. I go back in the morning to be closed up. He said that procedure will be more involved since he will have to make more cuts to allow him to close up the "defect". He says it should heal well and will be in the crease I have when I smile. Guess I better smile alot!
Promise to post some pictures soon.

Back from Nashville and Busting at the seams
YEHAAAAAAAAAAAAA ya'll. I'm back. I have tons to share but only time for a quick post. So much you are going to want to hear if you love Southern Lving at Home products. OMG!!!! I will just tell you that if you do not book a party or check out our new catalog you will be so sorry. BEAAUTIFUL.
I don't want to get ahead of myself so I'll remind you that we are still in June and you have 6 days to place an order of $125 to get the $75 free plus one item at half price. There are some great items NOT INCLUDED in the new catalog and I'd hate for you to miss the opportunity to order something you've been wanting and then it would be to late.
Big day tomorrow. Trying not to freak out. Going to pick up the rest of my prescriptions tonight so I'll be all ready to be pain free and "HAPPY" .
Hope everyone had a super weekend. I haven't seen a TV or read a newspaper since Wednesday so not sure what I've missed. I was sad to hear about George Carlin this morning. Another one of the people from my "childhood"..gone. Darn I'm getting old!

15 minutes of Fame
I have something exciting to share. As many of you know, Saturday I was a vendor for one of the fundraisers for Lutz Guv'nr. One of the local (throw inthe yard) newspaper reporter/photographers was there taking pics of the croppers, trying to get someone from all the local areas. I mentioned that I was from *****. He said perfect, he could get all his papers covered at one event. He took my picture, my information & I gave him one of my business cards so he'd get the info right. I wasn't sure if anything would come of it but was hopeful. The paper was in the driveway last night when I got home. I picked it up to take inside, hoping I wouldn't be disappointed and noticed that MY PICTURE WAS ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!! Top left colum. My picture and a small paragraph telling about me and the event and listing my WEBSITE! If I don't get any response from that I don't know what to say. I couldn't afford that kind of advertising!

Short Hello**EDITED to add pictures
Saturdays vendor event was fun. Did a little stamping and coloring while I was sitting at my booth. Met some nice ladies. Did a lot of marketing as my DH would say. One small order but hoping for more. Home by 7pm. Had some late night pizza & wings that were nasty. Called and complained (of course, so will get free ones on the next visit)
Sunday, Father's Day. My DS went to his Dad's. They were supposed to go to the RAYS game but for some reason they did not. Not sure why. DH decided to be a very big man and called DS's father and told him to keep him over night since it was Father's Day and even though it was our weekend, he was/is his Dad. Went and got his Free wings and more Chirro's since they were HARD as rocks the night before. Free food. YEAH. Spent the rest of the day updating my Newsletter subscription list and surfing the net. Ended up having a storm that knocked out our power for an hour. That meant that we missed the end of the race (ARGGGGGGG. I found out who won and am really bummed that we missed it. Hopefully it didn't get knocked off the recording due to the storm. I'd like to see it) After the power came back on and we finally got the cable TV reset, watched alittle Design Star and then fell asleep.
Up at the crack of dawn for a 7am PT appointment and then Part 1 of my yearly physical which included Blood work. Jenna..even after drinking a HUGE glass of water they had to stick me twice to get any blood. They had me do a breathing test and I didn't do so well. I don't smoke but couldn't even blow for as long as they needed me to. Guess being full of hot air doesn't mean you can blow it out! LOL. I apologized to the Dr. and said I've always been a shallow breather. Not sure why. That's why I could never become a famous singer.
Yep, that's the reason.
Starting to get really excited, nervous about my trip. I picked up a few things on Clearance at K-Mart yesterday. They had PJ's for $1.50 and a couple pairs of Capri's for $2. Not really my usual style but for the price they will do. ******I went back tonight (Monday) and found a pair of dress slacks regularly $21.99 for $2.50 and a nice shirt for $8.00****

Final Grades
The boy received his final grades yesterday, a week earlier than expected. They came in the mail along with his FCAT scores. I hadn't checked the school website since my discovery of the "C" in English so I was a little nervous for his summer fun.
He had ALL A's & B's!!!! YEAH!
His FCAT scores were 57 % for Language & 80% for Math. No surprise there.
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He had one "N" in conduct and the rest were "S". I'm curious about the "N" in Science but DH says I should leave it alone.
Guess the "Come to Jesus" meeting DS & DH had at the beginning of the year worked. His Karate teacher says he has seen a big improvement in him over this year too. I'm sure between the two influences it has helped.
Can I stop holding my breath now? No. He is going into 8th grade and then HIGH SCHOOL the year after that. That scares me.
Til later.........
PS..supposed to see the girl today, and her hair, at lunch. Hopefully she has her camera in her purse and we can get her to SEND me the picture I plan to take.
PSS PRAYERS needed for Tricia. Check the blog for details.

Photo frenzy**EDITED
Here are the pictures I've been promising you. I still do not have a picture of DD's hair but I have a Before of us and an after of me..taken by my DS.
First is a little enabling. I read a tip on GINA's site for easy paper piercing for cards and scrapbook pages. She showed little Grid shapes that she is selling in her store. I LOVE her site and loved the idea but realized they looked alot like the Plastic Canvas that crafters use. The next time I went to JoAnns I picked up one of each shape. I'm not sure how much she is selling them for but these were .59 each and will work just as well. I'll try and post a picture after I use them on a card. Here is a picture of the items on GINA'S website. They look alike to me. She is charging $1.49 for the 3. Not bad, basically what I paid in JoAnns. If you are ordering from her I'd go ahead and add them. Otherwise they are Plastic Canvas in the needlepoint department.
Speaking of enabling, I recently got some new acrylic stamps from JoAnn's that were really funny characters and sayings. They will make adorable cards. Today, while at Micheal's, I found the next set of their stamps..they have a "stamp" for each month plus some new alphabets/numbers. I need to call and let my friend DW know as she is usually our connection at Mike's. I got distracted by my mission to find DH's gift and then got home and busy visiting the boy. Sorry D.
Next is a late view of the Mother's Day card I made for my mom. I used the "Threading Water" punch everyone was searching for. I laced ribbon through the holes, punched out a scallop square, inked it up, added some Pearls from the Target Dollar spot and was pleased with the results.
The next set of pictures are the greeting cards I made while at the ScrapYard retreat
A picture of DS getting his Blue Belt!!!
Not crazy about how I look in this picture but it makes a great BEFORE shot. LOL. You can't tell how long my DD's hair is but she looks adorable so forgive my side of things...You can kind of see my boo-boo on my face.
Here is the AFTER shot, taken this afternoon by my DS. I think I over lightened the shot but you get the idea..I even have Make up on because I'd gone outside today and was trying to promote myself and SL@H so didn't want to scare people.
So, there you have some belated pictures. What did you do this weekend? You can't tell from the After picture but I cleaned out the scrapbooking room again...I took everything out of the closet and put it into the boys room...rearranged most of the stuff in the closet and on the shelves in the room, put things back more effectively and got everything cleaned up off the floor. You know it's been a mess for awhile when both of your men make the same comment when seeing the completed project..."There is carpet in this room". Funny!
I'm pooped and it's time to start another week. Picked up DH's father's day gift today..need to make two cards and get one in the mail. Maybe tomorrow.

New Do
Hair-do that is. I got my hair done last night and you will have to take my word for it that it looks cute. I STILL haven't seen my DD's hair but my DS told me it is Adorable!! and confirmed it is shorter than mine so...!!!!!! It must be really short.
Spent another evening getting the word out about the FREE..FREE...FREE $75 with an order of $125. If you missed the details, scroll down a bit and check it out. I don't want to push but how can you turn down FREEEEEEEEEE?
I have my follow up with the Cardiologist today. Should I yell at him or let it slide. The man says he thinks I have a Heart Murmer and then after my test DOESN'T call me to give me the results...even after I called and requested it? Since it is apparently an important piece of information to tell your other doctors, especially when they are scheduling you for surgery...it would be good to know! I've known the results but only because I have access to the system where the results are stored. What if I didn't have the access and therefore didn't know to tell the Plastic Surgeon...or the Ortho if it had been nessisary? ARG!!!! I hate to have to know more than I should just to get the proper medical care. Not everyone works with 90+ nurses and knows what to do or ask.
WONDERFUL news on Tricia's blog. THEY ARE HOME!! Check it out. Wonderful!
School is out for DS. He was tickled yesterday and was ready for his summer of non-stop game playing. He had a heart attack when I told him I'd signed him up for the summer reading program at the local library. LOL! Don't know his final grades. Not sure if I want to check the site or wait for them to arrive.
I have some enabling to do but want to post pictures and since I'm at work, that aint happening today. Soon, I promise. I was doing good until my buddy DW posted pictures of the latest Acylic stamps from JoAnns. Darn her. They are STINKIN CUTE!
Weekends almost here. What are you doing? Want to have a party? LOL.

Where to start?
Warning, you may need coffee and a potty break to get through this post...
Friday, small group of friends met at the community club house to crop. I had to run back and forth with the Karate kid so got there until late. By the time I arrived the DH of my buddy NC had decided he couldn't handle watching their new born cutie so he'd dropped him off with mom. Our other dear friend DW took over and had him full and happy in no time. We really didn't get alot done and weren't sure the alarm had been reset so closed up early and I was home and in bed by 11pm.
Saturday, SL@H party in St. Petersburg. Really cute house, really sweet Hostess, nice turn out, almost $1000 party. Sweet!!
After the party I made a couple of deliveries and then headed home to enter the party as it was the LAST DAY of the month and had to be completed before Midnight. It was down to the wire but we made it.
Sunday was a quiet day. Sunday Morning show....read both papers...watched some Nascar...cooked an actual meal (shocked everyone) and had a quiet evening.
Monday/yesterday was my Dear Niece in Ga's littlest boys 4th birthday. They had a big party for him and one of his brothers (his birthday was in May)that my sister and her son drove up for. The pictures are adorable and it looks like everyone had a great time. Hated that I missed another visit with the Ty Ty gang. HI JENNA!!!!
Had my dr. appointment with the Plastic Surgeon and my surgery is scheduled for June 24th. I wanted to wait until after my SL@H convention and they said it would be Ok to wait that long. Not looking forward to that whole ordeal but at least we know it is the "best cancer" to have if you have to have any. The office has promised they will not release me from care until we are both satisfied with the results. My DH said he loves me no matter what I look like so that's all that matters. I'm going to do a Public Service Announcement with visual aids soon. In the mean time...GO TO THE DERMATOLOGIST and get checked out. You never know.
After the appointment I wasn't ready to go to work so I called and asked for some time off to run errands. I needed to retrieve my DH's watch from the jewelry store WAY ACROSS town. I drove over and when I arrived I asked the sales lady to clean my rings while I was there. She checked them too and discovered some of my stones were loose. She had to keep my wedding band. ARG!!! I'm glad they caught it before anything happened to it but now I have to go ALL THE WAY back out there. With gas prices as they are I hate making extra trips. My sister works near the store but this week she is at her office NEAR MY HOUSE....arg!
My DD stopped by the office and we sat in the lunchroom for a change. We were having a discussion with a couple other gals and we got to laughing so hard that I spewed coffee OUT OF MY NOSE! Good grief. Can't take me anywhere.
On a brighter note, she found out that she passed a test she needed to pass before she could register for her fall classes. Out of 20 kids that took the test only 4 passed. WTG DD!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of DD, while she was visiting me, we were discussing her hair appointment that evening and mine on Wed. She was trying to talk me into cutting my hair short because she wanted to cut hers but was afraid to. Well she called me after her appointment and was FREAKING OUT that she had cut her mid-back length hair to her Chin. WOW! She said she would send me a picture but I haven't received it yet. Hope she didn't try and send it to my cell phone because I canceled that service. Discovered it cost me $8 when someone sent a picture. ARG! I have email...send it there. I'll share when/if I get a pic. I'm sure it looks adorable. How could it not? Now to decide what to do with my hair. I was joking that I should get a style that will cover my face as it is healing but that would drive my DH crazy. He doesn't like hair styles where things are hanging in your eyes/face. We'll see.
Last night I spent most of the evening spreading the word about the $75 in FREE PRODUCTS I told you about yesterday. What a deal!!!!
Guess that brings you up to date. I have many more doctors appointments, a visit to the Orthopedic doc that may result in shoulder surgery for me and a list of yearly appointments that are scheduled in the next 30 days. I just got word that my employer is changing the insurance plans for the next year, starting in July, so I'm a little concerned that it will screw up my follow ups with the plastic surgeon, etc. Guess we'll cross that bridge and all the others as we come to it.
Whew..I'm exhausted and I'm sure you are bored so I will say....
Til later...........
UPDATE>>>>>>WED. ....I went to the Ortho dr this morning and he determined that I DO NOT need surgery! Yeah. He gave me a Cortizone shot (OUCH) and referred me to PT for 4 weeks. Said something is inflamed but doesn't appear to have any damage. I have a follow up in 6 weeks so we'll see how it goes then.
